If you guys want a SRPG, I recommend Shining Force 3 for the Saturn. Probably the best out there and the driving force behind these games you love like FFTactics.

I guess it came out in Japan last year. there's alot of videos on it, it does look fun.
Actually the PS3 version came out in Japan in November 2011, no wonder I saw this game for $30 a few months ago. So why is there all this hype on the game now after a Nintendo DS and PS3 release from 2010 and 2011?
Schizm I'm confused.. You said a DS release? What game is ever released for the DS in addition to PS3? I thought this was a brand new game.
DS was JP only, then they remade it with additional content and upgraded graphics plus some more for PS3.

Weird. That pretty much never happens (DS > any other system). A 3 year gap is kind of a long time. Perhaps they added a ton? Seems like a game worth checking out.

I was checking out a list of what people called SRPGs and two did come up ~ Valkyria Chronicles and Disgaea.
I didn't care for Valkyria, it wasn't bad but just didn't think it was all that interesting after awhile.
Disgaea I like cause it does remind me alot of FF Tactics.

those special edition 3DS are region locked so if they arent released in the usa i wouldnt bother getting them
I just played Castlevania II: Simon's Quest and I think I am good enough to actually do a Youtube speed run.
