they have wizardry mmo beta now, its not bad. i can use a controller.
Northern Shiverpeaks. And damn, okay. Guess I'll find something else to level my artifactery. D:
Well the controls are just atrocious, and there is no pause button that I see, at all. The fight mechanics seem clunky at best. I know I'm just diving in though, so I'll give it more of a shot obviously. But at first glance, I'm instantly regretting this purchase so far.

How to Campaign.
Brought to you by Vyre and Dread. Step 1: Pull every mob in the zone. ![]() Step 2: ??? Step 3: XP! Siren.Kalilla said: » lol, never seen someone hate on it so hard just starting before. Well the response time on some moves can be a little slow after you've just performed an action but other than that they're very good. That sounds like something Vyre would do.

I was maybe expecting something a lot better, based on how you guys praise this game, and the fact that controls shouldn't be this clunky in a game from 2012... Idk. Definitely not impressed in the least to start. Odin.Minefield said: » Such a nice nap, mmm. They fixed it for Dark Souls 2 though. its not from 2012 lol

My controls respond exactly as I want them to every time I push a button. Odin.Eikechi said: » Well the controls are just atrocious, and there is no pause button that I see, at all. You tell it how it is, Eike.
Ramuh.Urial said: » the controls take time to learn Only controls I ever found "clunky" were the camera controls, and even that's second nature to me now, and I haven't really played all that much. It's really not a hard game to play. :/ Aly Saxena said: » Bismarck.Dreadnot said: » Aly Saxena said: » they have wizardry mmo beta now, its not bad. i can use a controller. Link pwease! Wizardry online awesome, thanks Bismarck.Moonlightespada said: » its not from 2012 lol Quote: PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 JP September 22, 2011 (PS3 only) NA October 4, 2011 It's a problem when you hit a button and it doesn't respond. I don't think it's bad enough that it breaks the game though. There are just some minor issues where you might use an item and it won't use it unless you let go of your shield or something. The problem shouldn't be there, but it's most likely a problem in the core of the game and they just can't make a simple patch for it. everyonce and awhile ill hit the wrong button trying to attack, like the item, hand switch or dodge <wich i end up falling down a ledge doing this lol> prolly cuz im used to face button attacks
Odin.Minefield said: » So I'm doing that tonight instead! :D Glad you're feeling better <3 Dread, the lil characters look like the lalafel from ff14. they sorta made the cutscenes like if it was going into windurst or sandy from ffxi for first time.
the interesting thing is, if you complete a lot of the quests on one character, you don't have the quests again on new character made, instead you have to fight through the maze dungeons to level up and do some dungeon quests over. but if you finish a final battle in the dungeon on one, itll be open for the 2nd character you made too. Bismarck.Moonlightespada said: » everyonce and awhile ill hit the wrong button trying to attack, like the item, hand switch or dodge <wich i end up falling down a ledge doing this lol> prolly cuz im used to face button attacks Maybe it's just because I don't play many action-oriented games (go go menu-based RPGs!), but I never really had a problem with the button layout. :/ I did have some trouble hitting the wrong buttons at first. All the Adventure (read: hack 'n slash) games I've ever played were square button to attack. So, I kept accidentally using estus flasks. For all of about half an hour.
