WHM is still a popular job, but less so due to all the dual boxes people now have. The few WHMs in my linkshell that were reknowned for their WHM talents generally don't use WHM anymore, simply because there's half a dozen mules stood around healing everyone.

What other jobs have you enjoyed at some point? Nowadays things are so loose and less rigid (in terms of gameplay, anyways) that you could play any job and get a lot done.

Except RDM. Poor RDM. Forever alone.

Probably a question better directed at the people you'd be playing with. If you stick to mostly solo/shout, you'd do well to have BST for solo and BLM/WHM to have a bit of flexibility in shout. Even PUGs tend to be picky about DD these days, though DRK and SAM can do competitively without emp/relic/mythic.

I would except if I join a group I'd like to be able to use a job that people need, but I want to have fun using it.

That is where I don't know what to do.

Finish your BLM, SMN, SCH, and take up a DD job for sure. Seems like you have the mage arena covered, and if you are interested in Rune Fencer, then WAR or DRK would be great choices since you know that RF will use Swords/Gswords.

"I only have WHM" x10... Not even kidding.

Well there's 20 jobs, there's a high chance you'll find another you'll like! Just make sure it's not RDM and you should be able to do things with people.

I love whm, but I really should have something else~ I've used it enough.

I really don't understand the game all that much when it comes down to it, and it kinda prevents me from exploring something that I'm not familiar with.

I think I want to do BRD and COR, maybe SCH and SMN. I'm just really not confident in anything I do when I step out of my comfort zone I guess.

As for what a group needs, all of those jobs that you have sitting at 99/95 and WAR/DRK or whatever can cover any need that a group may have, be it damage, survivability, zergability, etc.

I'd be willing to transfer if we got something going.
Still a lowbie from where I last left myself, but these days that doesn't mean much with how easy it is to grind/leech.
