if the guy tells the truth he'll say the other vilager says the wrong direction, but if he lies he'll say the truthful one will say the wrong direction, so whichever direction the guy gives the answer is still the one he didnt say to go in.... right?

there is one villager and the one implied in the question, sorry my wording is confusing
