Everyone talking about computers on this page ahhhh!!!
edit: of course it was a page ago. Siren.Kalilla said: » If there is a way for us to share the project so I can send you code and you plug it in etc then I'd try to help as much as I can. I don't mind looking at code really, its interesting to me. I'd probably spend awhile learning what everything means first before I do anything tho. Would be cool, you being head project lead, few people on programming, few people on story scripting... that would be interesting! Anyway, it uses Ruby for all the scripting stuff if that gives you an idea of what to expect. :I That would be cool, but if we could get a few people programming, I'd wonder if we'd be better off just building it from the ground up exactly how we want it instead of relying on RPG Maker's awkward base. ._.; Valefor.Prothescar said: » far cry 3, will test your gpu and is an awesome game O: Ahh yes, forgot about that series. If you have the ability to write it from scratch it sure is better.

Like... your own very personal theme songs. :O I love playing music I like, I don't see what's boring about it. Unrelated to the pleasure of creating, still something very enjoyable to me.

Like... your own very personal theme songs. :O Did you ever complete the requiem of subligars? Would you guys consider an idle temp of 30-32°C and a load temp of 58-60°C good? That is with my fan set to auto and it's keeping it at 32% fan speed.
A subligar song? You already have the thong song...
I think I'm going to end up spending a good chunk of my vacation money towards a respectable GPU if I go through with upgrading my PC.
Proth if there are any GTX 6800 models that tickle your fancy, I'm all ears. Bahamut.Rulerofdarkness said: » Would you guys consider an idle temp of 30-32°C and a load temp of 58-60°C good? As long as you're under 70C under load you're fine Artemicion said: » I think I'm going to end up spending a good chunk of my vacation money towards a respectable GPU if I go through with upgrading my PC. Nearly indistinguishable difference as compared to a 680 and cheaper by about $80 Phoenix.Sehachan said: » I love playing music I like, I don't see what's boring about it. When you recreate other's work on a constant basis, it becomes apparent that the composer/musician's achievement is from original artist and not their own. If anyone wants a short personal theme. PM me what kind of theme you'd like. The more detail, the more effort put in.
EVIDENCE FROM THE SUBLIGARCHIVES!
Why did I forget that?
oh... underpants. Let's take a look at that pm. Now bow to me and pay tribute to your king!

Unless you're on liquid cooling your GPU temperature will be limited by your ambient temperature, it will never go below that, and it's hard to push it down to it. Like I said, long as you're not hitting or exceeding 70C you're fine; after that point the card will throttle and underclock itself in order to cool down. If it ever gets that high (which it probably wont) and if you aren't already, use MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision to set a custom fan curve. sent ya one aelius

I'm using MSI right now to monitor it. lol Trying to test how it will do with auto speed settings. Nivida cards are regulated at 102c to be the critical point where your system will just shut down. My 590 has never throttled itself, even under full load at 94c. The lower throttle points are new to kepler gpus, it throttles back the boosts at each throttle point
Eh, *** this; I'm too stupid for coding stuff. Back to drawing for me.
Valefor.Prothescar said: » The lower throttle points are new to kepler gpus, it throttles back the boosts at each throttle point Ah ok, good to know. That means it would hate my house in the summer as I don't have AC yet >.> |
