Just like Fire Emblem, I hate Pokémon Conquest for ONE reason though:
- My turn to attack! (yay)
- Moves Gengar to Alakazam.
- Click on attack: 150 damage, 95% chance to hit.
- Proceed.
- The bloody attack MISSES >_<
- Next turn Alakazam owns my *** since poor Gengar is still half poison D:
(ibn4 don't use Gengar, just stick to other Ghost pokémon, but no... I prefer Gengar over Dusknoir or Mismagius <_<)
Also, there are pokémon with the ability Instinct in this game. Basically about a 50/50 chance they completely dodge any attack. Highly frustrating when an enemy has it and it NEVER works when one of your own pokémon has it...

You know I don't like saying this much cause people always flame about it but personally I enjoyed 10 the most.

Was really really mentally draining because very quickly I realised I must not get a hard on under any circumstances >_>; then of course once I told myself that I could think of nothing but naked ladies oil wrestling in a hot tub. I was staring at the instructor trying to take on board what he was saying then when I came to do it my mind was totally blank lol, DAMN NAKED LADIES.

That's one of the reasons I wear the underarmour shorts under my swimming subligar, so it holds things down >_> but they are so tight that you can easily make out the shapes of my bits with just the shorts on, if I got excited it would stick out like a right angle lol x_x

10 was great just the whole "laugh" scene in Luca made me cry in a bad way

SKULL, take it from your liege, 9 might look all kiddy kiddy and fairytale, but it has as much depth and integrity as any other Final Fantasy :)

I played 10 for the first time a few weeks ago ^_^ almost cried at the end ;(

FF9 is still my favorite Final Fantasy. Great characters, great story, great music (!) and above all: great ability system. Seriously, it's one of the reasons I replay the game once a year or so. Each time trying different team combinations and/or abilities is a lot of fun.

Only 7, 8 and 9 were made for PS1...
I know BUT I had beef with Sony, and I still carry residual beef with them. The fact I broke down to get a PS2 was merely cause my Gundam SEED fanboyism overtook my boycotting so I could play Gundam SEED: Endless Tomorrow, or whatever. >_<
I played FFXI to play with my old and current roommates. I am not into MMOs or RPGs that much. Yes I know I am about to be drug, strewn, and quartered. >_<

Also, if you're that adamant about not playing FF9, I recommend you stay away from my games, as I plan on having an equally fun cast and story. Also the worlds are pretty similar tech-wise (although it's probably closer still to X or XII). :I

December 5th, and not a snowflake in sight. It's to be 55 degrees and rainy today. I'm not quite sure what to make of this! On one hand, I haven't seen a December without snow since I lived in NM. On the other, I knew there would be some changes when we moved south out of the mountains over the summer. I think I might like it, because we won't have to wait until March or April for all the snow to melt this year so we can get on with spring!

Indeed it does! Yeh technically they are SNES so I know what Flaviun means, but during the time of the early FF games Square did not release much else of great quality besides I guess Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger, but that was mid 90's and getting close to the period I am referring to.
As you say the re-release on PS1 did come at the end of that golden era I mentioned (late 90s early 2000s). Then of course there was Bahamut Lagoon, Xenogears, Parasite Eve, Legend of Mana, Vagrant Story. Every single one of them a 5 star title, Xenogears is in a tussle with KOTOR for my most enjoyable game ever.
