It may sound cute but I was pretty creeped out at the time. Not because it was a Taru but just the fact that someone was stalking me.
If it would happen again today I would inquire earlier and in a more humorous tone I guess...
While I'm in story mode I might as well share another one:
The very first time I walked into San D'oria what was the first I did? No I didn't visit the Chateau, I didn't check out some of the (more important) quests and I certainly didn't explore the city. I replied back to a random /tell I got THE SECOND I ZONED into San D'oria. The message was something along the lines off: "Help I can't move! How do I access the menu on a keyboard?". A valid question but it was just weird (and hilarious as hell) to recieve it like the way I did.

Years ago there was a female Taru following me for about a week (this was when I just started). I always started my day looking at all the (crazy) expensive items on the Auction house, then walk outside and level a bit and finish the day with some exploring. On the third day I actually noticed her standing behind a rock trying to hide lol (her username was sticking out above the rock). I had a taru stalker too :| he would follow me around aht urgan all the time, he was always on (like he never logged off at all lol, no matter what time of day or night he was there) he would give me expensive gifts, or gil, he was a great friend, then he just dissapeared one day and never came back :(

I had a taru stalker too... he'd examine me like 8 times a day when I was in WG. Then when I created a mule right after the opening CS (so exactly when you spawn) he was there, waiting, and examined me while the screen was still black >.>
