What was billed as a 'rave' and 'party' was anything but...

<_< I'd be hard pressed to remember a more disappointing night... Went with a friend to this 'party' (I almost never go out and do ***like this, last time was in like March or something) he was invited by a friend of his. So we drive there (bout an hour away) then spend the next hour and a half sitting in the truck waiting for it to open, when it does friend isn't ready to go in yet so we sit there another 30 minutes (of which most he just slept) then he decides he's hungry so we leave and he gets something to eat, come back and finally go in, we find a place to sit as neither of us really know anyone, he knows the person who invited him and her brother but they're both off doing their own thing. There's like 20 people here total mind you. We both sit there in silence fiddling with our phones for an hour and then he decides *** it and we drive back and he drops me off..

The only redemption of this night is the toastadas I was making (and had to put off) before I left, I finished them and they were glorious.

I'm starting to think I'm just too old to have fun.. I know back in years 15-18 I had lots of fun at parties and stuff... Now it just seems lame.. Either I've gotten in a string of horrible 'parties' or I'm just old. I think I'm just old.

They're pretty good. Best with cheddar or butter (for me, Smart Balance margarine) and lots of pepper. Good stuff.

Oh believe me, once the reality of it all sat in I wished I had just stayed home. I don't blame him really, he got his hopes dashed too (in a way worse than me) I was just going to sit there and tough it out, he eventually was like "Dude are you ready? I'm ready to just go" so we did.

He still has to go back up there too <_< to pick her up.. Yep, was so lame that he'd rather waste the gas money and drive 2 hours to go back and pick up his friend and her brother than stay there and wait <_<.

It works pretty well for the most part, so far the only game I have run into problems with was MVC2, it was locked in demo mode even though my friend had it full unlocked.

... Yeah, I'd do it again. Dammit.
