Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

I'm trying to run an old Windows 95/98 game on ..Windows 7, it worked on my Windows XP computer but as usual Windows 7 fails on all levels of compatibility. Wondering if it is worth setting up a virtual pc running Windows XP or is it a complicated process?

Virtual machines are easy to run. I use them all the time to take advantage of cash-shop offers full of viruses on SD Gundam Online. :I
Easily worth the amount of time to set up if it means you'll get to play an old game you like. ^^

I've been trying to get my homework done but I am writing another paper on DLC and it makes me super angry everytime I start working on it.

Did you know that Dead or Alive Ultimate came with an edition of Dead or Alive 2 that had 167 costumes included for 15 characters? (Not taking any of the Dead or Alive 1 content into consideration either).

Meanwhile Dead or Alive 5 was released with 25 characters and only had 110 costumes included with the game. In order to have all 164 costumes currently available you would have had to pre-order a collectors edition of the game from Gamestop to get the CE DLC and pre-order DLC, pre-order a second copy from walmart* to get their pre-order DLC, and then spend $30 on the DLC that has been released up to this point. (Not counting Alpha 152 in this as her costumes are just recolors of her naked body). Assuming you had gotten all these things as they were released you would have had to spend $170 total so far. On top of that, most of the costumes in DoA5 are just rehashed-recycles of costumes from the older games.

At least it's just lolcostumes and not actual playable content that was kept from you unless you paid that. Still doesn't change the fact that the whole "pre-order/buy from us and get this" is stupid.

Never noticed much of a deathtrap my towns sidestreet are at night until now after the hurricane. no lights whatsoever. last night almost crashed into someone else riding a bike. today i didnt see a 2ft pile of leaves/branches near the sidewalk, get launched right over the handlebars. i hurt :/

The sidewalks that are launched 3 feet up make for nice jumps.

I just managed to burn hard-boiled eggs.

Saw Wreck it Ralph today and it was pretty awesome.

then driving home I heard one of the trailer songs for assassins creed come on the radio and then had an internal cryfest about the suckage of the games ending. Now I'm on youtube rewatching cutscenes from AC brotherhood.

Yeah I started boiling them, totally forgot about it. Started working on my term paper, played some Mass Effect, started up a bath and was thinking "Man I am hungry, I should go out after this bath and- OH GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE."

When I got out the water was all evaporated and the eggs smelled terrible. After I cooled them down I opened them up and they were burned on the inside.
