I was only missing one thing. The beard needed to go. I was waffling on it for the longest time, but I finally decided to make the leap. Plust it would be awesome to see myself as Ron for a day. So, I know it's a bit of a reach, but there ya go.

I just got my student loans, It's taking all my reason to keep me from building a new desktop.

I just built one that you can have for $300 plus shipping(put about $230 in it) (assembly and blood sacrifice).
the only trick is that it needs a windows license, to be legal, I have windows 7 pro installed, but no key/activation as I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it or not.
There's nothing wrong with it, but it's about the same as my laptop, so I don't really need it, got the parts cuz they were cheap.
newegg made a series of videos on how to build a computer, I honestly haven't watched them, but I've been using their site for years, I'd say they're legit.

Personally on my next one, I'm going to probably use the 950w psu I already have, a case I already have, and get a nice asus motherboard 1155 socket, either a i5-3570 or i7-3770, and a midgrade gpu, a ssd and a nice storage disk.
run me under 1k.
I've never really been into the cheapest build but more into the bang, so somebody else may be in for the cheaper.
I did just get a kit on tigerdirect for $230 though, quad core amd, motherboard, case, fan, ssd, dvd drive, psu. I mean it wasn't the greatest of quality and it's about the same as my laptop (minus video) but definitely not bad for the price, since one of those SSD on their own was over $100 and the cpu was $85 itself.
run me under 1k.
