yesterday I logged on to WoW with 3 days on my account before it expired to chat with my guild. They asked how come I hadn't leveled to 90 yet and I told them I couldn't afford to buy the new Xpac at the moment and I only had a couple days left before I went inactive.

One of them asked for my battlenet email, then gifted me the new xpac on my account because they wanted me to stay.

used to happen to me quite often as well, I would just reply "Idk, surprise me." or, even ask for some fancy fancy meal.
