Crisis Core had acceptable gameplay, but story was amazing.
didn't finish the game tho, I got lost on the last dungeon, and then told myself "I know how this ends... why am I playing it?" and stopped.

The GBA versions sucked, but the psp version was a remake of the PSX version, which, while some scenes were nicely animated, it changed my perspective of the story a little. To me, the original was still the better one.

Yeah, I heard terribad things about the go.
It was a heartfelt effort to ditch the UMD, which is a noble cause, the manner of implementation with an integrated hard drive and whatnot didn't pan out so well, especially since many better titles are disc only and aren't available to download. Not to mention you're stuck with proprietary non-removable/exchangeable storage.

The Psp Go was a failed project that was put on the market, but the PSP Vita is so much better in comparison, just not many games on the network for it yet.

As far as I can tell it's just a thinner version. Kinda like how they had the PS2 Slims.

I don't really get how that's possible.

It was nearly an exact copy with a few more jobs and bonus characters, a tad more character development, gorgeously animated scenes and more period appropriate dialogue.

And the GBA Tactics gets way too much ***. Admittedly, I wasn't fond of the judge system, but the story was excellent and easily made up for it.
