I'm bored, entertain me. :< No, Slip will! I'm going to bed. Also, awfully close to 10k.. you have been warned! :< I won't put such a burden on Slip. He has enough going on in his life right now.
Speaking of which, that sucks some serious ***, Slip. At least it's not something far worse though.
Hmm... 2 more till 10k. What to do what to do.

EDIT:
I'm actually kinda happy with the outcome.. I mean 500 bucks is a good chunk of change, but compared to what else it could have been, that's cheap. The last time I heard about someone having to have a transmission replaced it cost over 2 grand.

I just Googled, "At what point does a nap turn into sleep?"
The results were inconclusive. No one seems to agree.

As for me, I'm digging a big ol' pit in Minecraft, right now. And as I do, the only song that comes to mind is:
Sixteen tons, and whaddya get? Another day older and deeper in debt. Saint Peter don'tcha call me 'cause I can't go. I owe my soul to the company sto'...

This isn't a major problem, yet, but I thought I'd ask all of you if you could suggest a temporary fix for my poor computer until I purchase a new one.
So here are the details:
When the problem happens, my screen looks similar to this:
This only happens on a normal boot up, this doesn't happen during safe mode ever. I could be on safe mode with networking for a few days and I would never see this problem happen.
When the problem happens, most likely it will happen again on re-boot after a few minutes, or a blue screen while windows is loading (unless I enter safe mode).
The problem can be seen on an external monitor as well.
It might not happen at all in an entire day, or it might happen up to 3 times.
I have some theories on what is going on, but I'm not really sure. Most obvious issue comes to mind is the graphics card. However, why wouldn't this issue ever occur in safe mode if it was hardware related? This is why I'm thinking it might be software related, so I was thinking about reformatting my computer but I'm not sure if it would fix the issue.
Any thoughts? (other than how this reminds you of NES, cause it does to me!)

Graphics card overheating does exactly that. Running a full OS is a lot more intense than basic safe mode, so that's probably why. Does it only happen during booting? Or does it randomly happen?
Replacing your graphics card will fix that, though.

Replacing your graphics card will fix that, though. If it happens and I have to force restart it then it might happen on boot-up. Other than that it seems to be completely random.
So I might just have to replace the graphics card then, how annoying.

Yea, it's that your graphics card is overheating. Absolutely no doubt.

If I get a stronger air flow would that help prolong it? Or do you think it's too damaged and will continue to do it?
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
