Two things killed XIII for me the first time I played it.
1: SLOW start. Was like FFVII Midgar all over again. I could not get into it.
2: The character with the speech issue. I wanted to set her on fire and beat it out with a brick. Was horrendous. Maybe it will grow on me, I dunno.

Speech issue, you mean Vanille's accent? It's just a part of her personallity, she puts on the super happy part to try and keep people from worrying too much about things.
One of the girls has like, a lisp or something. Younger girl in the early part of the game. God I wish I could remember it better but I bought the FFXIII 360 and literally traded the game back the following day LOL
Vanille xD the voice actor is Australian I think

Cloud was not emo by the end of 7, and he sure as hell wouldn't have let some illness get him down that badly.

And the worst part is that Dissidia uses 7 Cloud but he has AC Cloud's personality... It's like the writers forgot what he was even like before AC...
I liked him in Crisis Core, though. :3

Can't view youtube at work but is that the trailer for "2.0" where there's no gameplay in it? Because I haven't seen any other trailer other than that for "2.0" and even though it was cool, I want to see the *** gameplay, not pretty things.

No. infact they just did maint on it and a lot of stupid bugs like I can't synthesis anything. My clan plots are *** up so I can't plant anything. etc.

@Ina I meant an official trailer with gameplay in it. Not pretty things that I already knew FFXIV had from when I played it. Or is the gameplay still the same because that was what turned me off when I last played it.

Limit breaks arn't like FF7 since they are charged as a party and 1 person executes theirs when the bar is full.
