My 200mm case fan is dying, and I really don't feel like getting a new one, so I just took the side of my case off to help ventilate lol.
the one on top of my case died once.. was an effing pain to remove and replace lol

That's the exact one too. It's on the top of my case and it's spinning super slow... I triple checked the molex cables, nothing wrong there, so I guess it's just finally dying out.

I really don't feel like replacing it since I have plans to get a new PC by no later than March anyways, so for now I'll just have the guts exposed for extra ventilation lol.
is it this one by chance? lol

Close. I have the 300 illusion. So yes, it is antec but a slightly lower end model. I shouldn't be too surprised though. It's not like provided goodies are meant to last forever. I remember my first computer's case came with a PSU and that baby blew out several months later lol.

Equipment recieved from Belgemine despite of win or loss should appear in your inventory. Sorting it might help in the search. :P

Hey! I keep my inventory neat and tidy ty >.>

But it's still not there :/ secondly is it possible to get more than one set of each of these awesome customisation prizes from the chocobo race? I just keep getting potions now :(

Wut? Bad music in XIII?

I'm pretty sure Sunleth Waterscape and Nautilus' Theme (a vacation town, much like the Gold Saucer) is the only song on the entire album I'd call techno-y. MAYBE one or two more. In fact, going through the entire 4.5 hour long OST as I skip around songs, the majority of them are pretty much orchestral with a few synthetic sounds here and there. There are some composed mostly of synthetic sounds, but it kinda fits, given the whole technologically advanced world they're in.

I'll agree that XIII-2 is hit and miss though. You either like it or dislike it. It is mostly pop-ish.

Honestly techno or not, the foundation for the majority of songs on that OST was brilliant and it shines through beautifully in a lot of tracks. As can been seen by the simple fact that Arte and I both posted songs with that foundation.

I mean hell even with the "Techno" sound I think Sunleth Waterscape is brilliant.

I wont defend XIII-2 it was hard to find any songs I liked in that OST.

Edit: Unnecessarily vocal? You mean to say video games shouldn't have vocals? Why yes lets stick with early gen limitations. I'm sure if this were centuries ago you'd be one of the people who called Beethoven crazy for putting lyrics in his Symphony...
I've said it before, need more vocals in games these days, major boss fights especially need something to set them apart a bit more.

Yes this was used in a boss fight, and it was so fricken awesome.

IIRC, the top fan was indeed claimed as faulty, bad bearings or something, that ended giving the fan a low life span.

while FF13's music wasnt as memorable as previous FF's I felt the music (while different) did fit 13's cyber techo theme. loved Sunleth Waterscape, it was catchy, upbeat, bright, and moving. often end up singing along with it.

I don't mind techno/trance etc but I just didn't like the tracks used (most, not all obviously) in XIII, it was too much. You can think it's dumb if you want, they just didn't seem fitting imo.
I agree it's fitting, I for one though never felt distracted by the music in XIII and I actually felt it went quite well with the atmosphere of the game.

Much the same that the slow sacred(in music terms- aka religious) music fit the atmosphere of X.

You guys make me want to go back to making a "themed" soundtrack to step in place for FFXI. Granted I have the application muted right now, since there's nothing remotely immersing about grinding levels via GoV for hours on end lol.

Only thing that fits the mood would be music that you don't like. Thus torturing yourself while torturing yourself.

Mwuaha!
Found it!
I mentioned Sacred music being a major influence for X because when I think 10 I think the Hymn of Fayth and I feel that was truly based off something like this.

Yeah there's no appropriate music for doing awful things like that, but once battles become a little more immersed and meaningful and fun, I'd love to throw the tracks from Lost Odyssey in there. Oh to do campaign battles and have this play... /swoon

I love the beauty of LO's music but I always get hung up on the slower sadder songs rather than the faster paced ones like the battle theme.

So you can remember Hanna while you grind and get more depressed!

Or you could always use a ...

Fitting song title is fitting.

And like I said I always get stuck on these two songs when LO comes up.

They're two of the most beautiful pieces ever put into a game.

I was thinking of giving the Theme of Uhra to Bastok, but it's too bright and positive of an environment to warrant the more heavy, almost dark industrial sounds of that track.

Nah, no need to lie.
We all know you condemn games until you play them.
I'm just glad you've played X and understand the story.
If anything I hope you play it more than once so you can truly understand the beauty behind it.

Yep, and it's very apparent with how they based the music of older Sacred type music. Very well done IMO.

Can't wait til I figure out how to use the Spoony Bard Project thingy to inject music into zones without music. This is so perfect for Konschtat Highlands, especially since it shares many elements of the environment as the music's counterpart for it's own location.

I don't understand how people struggle with X's story tbh, it's really not that complicated.

Sagi knows we will remind him of this anytime he says a game sucks in the future.
