Been getting some game guides on GameFAQs today, and I'm seeing a lot of guides with a section telling you how you can donate to the person who made the guide.


What for? It was your choice to kill some time by typing up a guide for people to use. Its not a job, no one asked you to do it.

I agree with you. Donating to a guy who does a game guide is very different than donating to someone who keeps a website running. That actually costs money.

I agree with you. Donating to a guy who does a game guide is very different than donating to someone who keeps a website running. That actually costs money.
Strictly from a cost perspective it's covered by advertisments..

If anything could be argued its that once the FAQ is done that it's just done where as this site needs more maintanence and such...

I just saw the whole... "It was your choice to kill some time by typing up a guide for people to use. Its not a job, no one asked you to do it." and thought the same of here... no one asked them to do it... and it's not their job so... lol...

It's a little warmer here atm and i'm sitting in the sun >.> it's perfect! Saturday they said it will be 30C+ :O
