Drops at the end of skirmish, one weapon always drops (1 for the whole party not 1 each) if you clear the one with the tree, not sure about the other. Also seems to be a random chance for a second one, I read a second drops with speed run but saw 2 drop with 30sec left on the clock. They are also buy/sellable.

Not a big deal since its only a 30min thing and you are garenteed at least one drop if you win, they arn't super expensive either.

I kinda need one of these as well... I only get to do a bit of stuff with my LS on the weekend since my hours sucks and only a couple others play in the mornings at all XD
melee weapon dps is the stat your ability damage is based off of now?
looking at this list http://ffxiv.mozk-tabetai.com/ all the ifrit ones are nearly the worst dps of all the lv50 weapons :|

Anything that uses TP to deal damage is based off the DPS and if it doesn't use tp (ie auto attack, light shot, jump) is DMG I think. So ifrits are kinda down on the list since most of your damage is from weapon skills. The exception is archer which ends up close to 50/50 so dmg is still important to them. It's weird I know XD
