So last night wasn't a good night and I ended up losing my mind and throwing my phone (hard, too..) and it hit the wall and battery and battery cover went flying.. I thought I shattered the phone into pieces at first, but nope..

I can't believe you didn't break the screen o_o I could drop my phone on a pillow from like 5 inches up and it will break the screen.
That was my first thought as well.. I had a friend just drop his (different phone, but same type of screen) and not even from high up and it cracked his screen.. Either I just got lucky or Samsung knows how to build a hell of a phone.

Honestly no, I don't think it's that bad. I see more revealing, more disgusting, and more offensive avatars on this site all the time.
The only kinda people that would report that in my mind are uptights and haters, and I could get a lot more specific about what I mean by that but feelings would get hurt.
It's a cartoon mole, essentially bouncing in between cartoon boobs, and the boobs are only 1/3 on the screen. If that really offends you I suggest you never turn on a TV or open a magazine because holy christ are you in for a surprise.

I used to always buy into the Verizon "new every two" mode of thought (i.e. that I must get a new phone every two years because they tell me so, and that the upgrades are worthwhile.)
Then I came to the realisation that the phones I kept replacing still did the same thing essentially as the new ones, at least for what I needed. So then I stopped buying new phones and decided to only buy a new phone when the one I currently have no longer works anymore. :/
To me, at least, the whole "you need a new one because it's new! duh!" just smacks of (in my mind) wasteful conspicuous consumption, driven entirely by manufacturers. ;_;
