Short circuit? Loose connection?
i think its the power supply because when it turns off i have to unplug and plug the power supply back in to get it to respond but is it over heating? lol i might get the air compressor and clean out the dust later too
You should clean out a PC like every month ... D:
Sounds like it might be a power supply issue if you have to unplug it and plug it back in for it to work after a shut down though. kinda worried because no one in this house knows who to replace those things :P and it could have been the reason our old computer died, power supply could have fried and we never cleaned inside of it lolol :P this computer is nice though so i want it to live lol
I enjoy dusting out computers with those compressed air thingies, it's so much fun :D
right now i wish i had nerdier friends irl to help me with computer cleaning and installing :P
Power supply is probably the easiest thing to replace (kinda lol...)

Or something like that, idk. /hugs seha anyway Must be mistaken, Seha wouldn't offer hugs with me around, only icy cold stares! Just take it apart, clean it out and put it back together... I had to do that awhile back to fix my fan...
D: I think I just killed a bird. >< Dang it!
K, so there's this big-arse tree in my back yard that shades our yard and two of our neighbors' yards. I have two dogs, one of the other two shaded yards has one large dog, and the other neighbor is a douchebag with a kid who shrieks all the time like she's being kidnapped. My dogs ran out a bit ago, and I let them run free for 10~15 minutes while I derped around on the computer. Then I decided they'd been out in the heat long enough and called them in. Well, when I stuck my head out, I noticed my corgi standing guard over some small thing that was feebly hopping around. I called him away from it and stuck both pups in the house, then went out to investigate. And there was a teeny tiny little bird there, he could sit in the palm of my hand but seemed like an adult. He couldn't fly very well, he could only seem to go a few feet at a time and only a few feet in the air. He ran away from me into the corner of the yard where the millisecond my dogs came out again they'd find and kill him, accidentally or not. So I picked him up, he was all covered in dog slime (but no blood and no open wounds, which makes me think my corgi caught him but did not bite or injure him, just scared the crap out of him.) I stroked his back a bit to try to sooth him, probably just terrified him even more. I couldn't leave him in my yard, my dogs will eventually kill him, even if it's an accident. Couldn't put him in the tree that's between three yards, because any yard he goes into will get him hurt. Dogs in two, an obnoxious kid in the third. So I took him to my front yard to a shade tree out there. No dogs go there. But there's a large flat area on that tree where he can rest, and lots of shade, and he should be able to find food there provided he likes little bugs. If he needs to come out of the tree for food, he should be ok unless he wanders into the road. Then after I set him in the tree I realized he was completely screwed on water and there's also squirrels in that tree who might beat him up. >< I can't get him back down now, he hopped out of reach. Damn it, I really hope he makes it! Maybe I should have left him alone in my back yard and hoped he recovered enough to fly off on his own. >< >< >< Odin.Liela said: » D: I think I just killed a bird. >< Dang it! If he's not an adult he was dead the moment your scent got on him. Just buy one less egg next week and the balance will be restored. |
