Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Oh man, I missed the conversation about emotions.
I had Gundam all mathed out so I knew that if I made sure I got rid of commercials on at least MOST of the episodes (sometimes I would forget ; ; ), I could fit 14 episodes per tape and still have a tiny bit of room to spare for error.
The commercials are now the best part of watching those tapes XD WHY WERE TOYS SO AWESOME BACK THEN!?
Bismarck.Dreadnot said: » It was my brilliant labeling strat. That and often times I would run out of room on a tape and be like 'omg I need a tape.. uh.. this is TAPE 1 doesn't matter how many episodes! TAPE 2 GO!" Oh man I love Titus and that made me laugh hard. Many [+] to you sir.
Bismarck.Dreadnot said: » The commercials are now the best part of watching those tapes XD WHY WERE TOYS SO AWESOME BACK THEN!? metal tonka trucks back in the day...and "skip it"...and creepy crawlers...and those stupid nerf balls on a zip line thingies idfk wtf they were Bismarck.Dreadnot said: » Oh man I love Titus and that made me laugh hard. Many [+] to you sir. Yeah I have his TV series on my harddrive. Was a brilliant show!

The opening to that show I love.. *** up people DO know to step to the side of the fan, the 'normal' people stand there and get hit by the ***.. And us mentally crazy folk are actually the normal ones, because we out number the 'normal' ones.. I never looked at it that way until he pointed it out.. He's definitely got my vote for one of the best comedians of all time, not because he's just funny or he just appeals to me, it's just the mix he manages to make between addressing actual everyday issues most people have and making them funny.. He has an unnatural talent. That snake venom video was fascinating. <_<
The only two John Candy movies I can stand are Wagons East and Canadian Bacon. I've seen Uncle Buck and I didn't find it even remotely funny.
I'm watching Wagons East right now, that's why. whaaat uncle buck is a great movie
the great outdoors is great too I agree with mag. I didn't care for Uncle Buck.
Crap, I forgot Planes, Trains and Automobiles. That movie rocks. I've never seen The Great Outdoors, though. I just keep hearing that Uncle Buck is the quintessential John Candy movie, and to me it was kind of a typical 80s comedy movie. Not really my thing.
John Candy was before my time, I saw one of his movies once and while I didn't personally like it, I can respect why people found him funny (at least now).
Before my time = he basically died when I was too young to really appreciate his humor and I'm not a fan of going back and watching older movies. guess its just me lol im old ; ;

That doesn't quite seem fair. I mean, one movie as opposed to six of them?
Maybe if I can come up with some other movies for you to have to watch while I watch them. Also, I'm just noticing that this movie has two cast members from Star Trek Voyager. Alexander.Drokin said: » That doesn't quite seem fair. I mean, one movie as opposed to six of them? Not just yet. You said it's on Netflix? Something about the Red Death?

Maybe if I can come up with some other movies for you to have to watch while I watch them. I will let you know when I get around to finding a copy or download of it. Right now I'm off to bed. Start coming up with a list of 80's/90's movies that people consider good that you've never seen! (Ooh! WarGames! Have you ever watched that? Not that it's like, amazing, or ground-breaking or anything... But I always got a kick out of watching it.) |
