Eh depends on the ocean/sea.
Atlantic near me burns kinda bad IMO where as Hawaii didn't. But the ocean near you has salinity closer to Hawaii than by me.
The med is very salty though.

I don't remember the name, but there is a lake somewhere in Africa I think with such a high concentration of salt or something that it lets you float effortlessly on the surface! It's also bright pink :D
I thought that was the dead sea.

The Dead Sea is so named because the salt concentration is so high that nothing can live in it. I imagine that lake has a similar instance.

I find it strange how nothing has adapted to it after so long. I mean there's loads of stuff that can survive depths that would crush anything we can build, but there's nothing that can survive a little salt? :<

I once hollowed out a french fry, filled it with salt and then fed it to a friend... made for awesome luls. One girl I knew in school snorted a line of it and was suprised by the fact that it burned >.>
