ill be at a conference and in a nice hotel, with pool and sundeck so im excited. 3 chicks and 1 guy, we are going to have a ladies night out

I know a lot of people that are able to keep eyes open underwater in the sea. I can't, so don't ask me how they do it. I start crying even if a drop goes near my eye.

But I can also touch my own eye (which freaks my wife out) without immediately squinting in pain.
Funny thing is, I can't put eye drops in my eyes worth a damn though.. lol.

Atlantic near me burns kinda bad IMO where as Hawaii didn't. But the ocean near you has salinity closer to Hawaii than by me.
The med is very salty though.

Crustaceans are very similar to insects...but they're usually cuter to look at.

I had a crayfish in my fish tank once. It used to climb out of the tank and walk around the house.

I don't remember the name, but there is a lake somewhere in Africa I think with such a high concentration of salt or something that it lets you float effortlessly on the surface! It's also bright pink :D
