It's something I've always enjoyed. Psychology will always be a secret passion deep in my heart and anything pertaining to it has always entertained me quite thoroughly. That and trying to figure out the inner workings of my brain has been a long term goal of mine since the beginning of high school. Anything to help myself deal with life etc.

It's a pit with no exit though. I thought that as well, until I realized that knowledge alone is pretty much useless, only actions(and therapy if needed)can help you. At the end of the day knowing if your label is schizoid, narcisisst, borderline, histrionic, or whatever doesn't really do anything for you.

Well no, the knowledge doesn't so much help me as much as gives me something to go on. It's the search for the knowledge that gives me a chance to forget about it all a bit and somewhat help myself by attempting techniques on my own. Not the best course of action, but it allows me to be a bit more self sufficient which I enjoy more than seeking for help from the outside.
