Well, I got a job to earn some money to buy a new desktop to play FFXIV on. Working for my dad at his Computer Repair shop, but I'm not actually repairing computers. I'm finding random old PCs around the shop, reloading them with Windows XP, and putting them on Craigslist for ~$75-$100 each.
I get $5/hour and %12.5 Commission on these.

See, I would go and apply at other places for a job, but I'd have to quit when the school year starts in less than 2 months. I do way too many after-school things.
Edit: What I'm afraid of is that I'm going to end up working all summer for money for a new desktop, and I might not even make the money for one until school starts. I'd at least like to be able to play FFXIV some this summer.

any and all really. the wiki sucks. it's mostly incomplete anyways.
oh and i tried the mnk boots thing, switching to wind when i combo. i didn't find it very effectively, to be honest. some of the fists' elements add a lot of dmg depending on the mob. I'd rather do a few hundred more dmg a few seconds later personally. /shrug thx for the info though. the felt bracers/trousers are working nice with str/vit str materia in them.

well obviously you wouldn't use it on everything, but there are mobs you can't use all your combos on so you want to be able to rotate two instead of three.
And I just go to BG for important stuff like stats.

Looking at the Type-0 characters summer outfits.. does anyone think this is a bit excessive? >_> (I can't really understand it though so I guess "summer" isn't what I'm thinking of...)
Edit: By excessive I mean the gloves/capes :| Gloves during summer doesn't sound very comfy.

Or weak to earth I imagine, no? Like gnats for instance.
Anytime you can keep a full combo rotation you should at least put up wind before the combo for the reduced recast, otherwise i find myself sitting on TP waiting to combo. Wind with boots is 18 seconds off of dragon kick and 24 seconds off of howling fist/simian thrash, and i keep the 100+ attack on auto attacks with fist of fire.

yea i neeed to work on my mnk/pgl gear only thing i hate is the whole "you can only use this set up or job or *** you" mentality people have on xiv, reason i leveld GLD and LNC now people dont want em lol
