So I just spent like an hour doing leves with a friend I met ages ago on XI (who has incidentally enough turned into a good fb friend). OMG that was fun as hell and all we did was kill random crap lol. I was one-shotting stuff on conjurer (the weaker nuking job) with stone and aero lol.

The runt of the litter is often abandoned if the mother isn't in a stable area or well fed. Even if it has no defects or illnesses.
What's the social protocol for someone about to let a loved one off of life support?

Unless its in a will. Also for children, its up to the parent.

Just make sure they know you are there to talk about it with. Not sure if cards or whatever would be good >.>
If it's someone nearby then hang out with them. Company is the best way to help deal with this sort of thing. It's not something that's nice to go through alone.

i'd say flowers and a letter. or just showing up and being there for support

On that note, Dread has a good idea, unless they're the kind of personality that prefers to just be left alone completely when dealing with a loss.

I'd take them out and try to keep their mind off things, I know whenever I get pissed/depressed/upset I always go out and find stuff to do so I can keep my mind off it :/
