Most clicking like that tends to come from the balance of the fans being out of wack, usually the culprit is dust buildup.
Only other moving part for conventional computers that I can think of is your hard drive. Solid state technology is fixing that one in rapid order though.
If it is a random clicking you might need a new HD.

Bah was going to make a bootable flash drive for win7 but this clicking is driving me nuts and uh ... yeah it's almost 10PM and this format *** is taking WAY too god damn long for no reason lol... after 2 hours it was only at 25%.
Bootable drive for 7? As in run the OS via a flash drive? Seems like it would be slow...

I've had win7 on this machine for ever lol, I'm just creating a install flash drive so I can reinstall windows 7 later.
I got it to go quicker I just hope to god it stays working lol.
I've reinstalled windows 7 like this a few times already lol... lot faster then having to burn a DVD and hope to god it works.

Haxor! I just use the install disk ;p, I have heard of people using thumb drives to install like that, but usually those people are responsible for entire network work stations, so they need to install it a bunch of times many times in a week.
