I am pretty sure you just stop cleaning up their poop, eventually they get sick and die and then turn into an egg. Then you rehatch them and BOOM digimon.

He stated that he want to refrain from doing the same mistake made by previous live action adaptation and added, “if you enjoyed [Dragon Ball Evolution] movie, that's great, but I thought it was a noble effort that ultimately didn't succeed. That's what we're trying to avoid. We want to make sure this movie lives up to what the manga is.”
Since he wanted to be faithful to Tite Kubo's work, he plans to set it in Japan, where most live action anime adaptations failed to utilize.
“I'm currently working on Bleach and the idea is to set it in Japan and really be respectful to the source material. It's an amazing story. I've been shorthanding it as an 'action-adventure Sixth Sense,' but obviously on a bigger canvas than that. So I'm incredibly excited about that. It's a good one.”

Think you're confused though, he doesn't jump back in his own plane in this one, the RPG one he jumps back in his own plane.
