So, I've noticed a trend on here.
The people who tend to post mainly in the FFXI forums generally seem to have the "lol, Facebook is for losers" reaction when it's brought up.
But the people who post in the non-gaming forums tend to be very into Facebook and other social media (like Tumblr, etc.).
Or maybe I'm just wrong. Has anyone else noticed these sorts of things before?

I would give a discerning look to anybody who used something like guildwork and claimed facebook is for losers >_>

People tend to cling to their own devices of interest. So in a way it's not too surprising that many are unwilling to branch out to what is essentially a stalking tool or a megaphone of useless and redundant information. I only use the forums cause the people are awesome, the posted content is good (based on the thread), and part of me clings to my former love of FFXI. It really is a home away from home. I also use tumblr but just for the sake of discovering and regurgitating other awesome content.

Hey, some things only get better with age.
Wine and cheese are good examples.
Sometimes women too.
i would use xivpro if threads that were from the general sections showed up in the recent topics, but its only xiv threads that show up

the whole thing just leaves me a bit turned off but it has it's places, I can see why people use and enjoy it innocently too
I don't mind using Facebook every now and then but I get annoyed very easily when people think I want a running commentary of their lives, or post dumbass questions that they already know the answer to they just want the attention, or a damn weather report along with the hundred other people telling me the sun has come out.
lol She likes things that are completely ridiculous. So yes, I suppose so! I showed her a few other pics(from your profile) and she just thought it was all hilarious. :p
