The problem with the going back to the old FF model is that you've got rival WRPGs that are the current flavor of the month and the JRPG is in decline.

some People want games where your choices matter and this just wasn't the case with old SE installments. Games like FFX were completely on rails, the old villains had all the complexity of a paper cup and it puts SE in an awkward position where they're obviously in unfamiliar territory trying to catch up with the standards of 2011.

Since these are random thoughts give me a freakin' REAL sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics. Same universe, new story.

I had some long post in rebuttal to this but the site somehow moved me to the shouts page (probably my touchpad, stupid typing on a laptop, need to disable that ***).

basically WRPGS suck imo, may as well play an mmo. I don't like having to chose every single last *** thing, it's ridiculous.

JRPGS aren't on the decline just they haven't increased in popularity any, the general public is stupid and like to bandwagon, aside from that most hate anything with "japanimation"

I would say jrpgs still have their fanbase but the companies instead of relying on that fanbase and realizing most won't play their games due to stupidity they keep trying to get new customers and screwing over their loyal fans.

Absolutely spot on, unfortunately even the good JRPG are snuffed out by the overwhelmingly popular mediocre rpg titles like Skyrim, FF13 etc.

Morning..... Aliens ! Hmmmm interesting morning so far.... I feel bad and I think im burning for it lol So no work today, since i have an appointment for something.... So outside this small grocery stop, I'm stopped by one of those wandering religious people spreading out the word and giving panplets and stuff. Usually I turn those people away.... as she aproached me, notice she was bloody cute, and had really pretty green eyes... so she starts talking and offering stuff... her skin was light tone and... sparkly ? So during the convo ( dunno how the heck I kept the convo up ) she pulls out a bible to read a chapter of it.... Fuuuu she gets a lil close since the sun was on her eyes, and as she reads, managed to get a peak under her blouse, sparkly soft milky skin and lacey pearl colored bra.... one of those things of not knowing if to look, or look away..... We talked a bit more and gave me her panplets and parted ways.... Did i mention she had a shiney wedding ring, and she drove away , with her ( what i assume ) her husband , whose car was about 10 feet away ? And cant even remember what was said..... or she tried to sell :/

Skyrim was fun up to a point, but then I got bored of it really fast.

I would just have to say someone still has their nostalgia glasses on.

In the current age, comparing games just makes you disappointed so it's best if you just enjoy them for what they are.

I only got 27 hours out of skyrim before I got board, atleast 4 hours of that is me leaving the game open and doing something else... Honestly was more dissapointed in that game then the ending of ME3.

Shhh lol. I really need to pick up ME3 before I read something I don't want to ><
