as for your russian porn, browse those sites in a VM so you can trash it and just load from a backup so you don't compromise your regular system.
I haven't seen a rootkit since I stopped using IE and I haven't caught a virus myself in years, last time was from a usb stick otherwise I wouldn't bother with realitme protection. (still have to use them for now so figured I may as well scan the scripts).

my grandma uses it, because she has to.
I've got a system icsing my internet from a phone, to the pc, to a router, so I can get internet downstairs.
at least it's not dialup (but has high latency).

Hey Bart, or anyone else that knows, is the story for Mass Effect continued throughout all three games? Like would I need to play 1 and 2 to understand what is going on in 3? I'm wanting to get 3 but I haven't played 1 or 2 and I don't want to be lost or miss out on some awesomeness.

sad part is the browser just sits on IE.
even on dialup I'd use the built in windows after I got the dial numbers and just have it auto connect, if I still had to use it.
(kinda do since the pc treats the cell as a dialup connection but at like 3mbps down.
