That's another thing... what is the point in painting your toe nails, ladies? Do you really expect people to just be staring at them? o.O Fingernails are one thing, they're much more out in the open. But I barely notice those being painted unless I'm particularly interested in a women, as in like I'm straight infatuated with you already.

Although because I walked around barefoot so often I really can't feel the bottoms of my feet anymore.. You squeeze my heel and it's almost rock solid.. There's like a half inch of skin on the parts of my feet that actually touch the ground <_< I can put cigarettes out on my heels and not even feel it.

I hear ya, though. I do have a pair of white tennis shoes. Still not as comfy as the Jesus sandals, though.

I had moon shoes too.. Too bad they were ***.. I think they actually did more to hamper my jumping than help it.. Good idea, but the 'industrial strength rubber bands' just didn't help anything.
Also these were the popular things when I got into my teens:
I didn't have them for the same reason I didn't skateboard.. I have horrible balance, at least moving slow.. I was always a bike person, I'm at my best when moving at full speed on a bike.. My brothers were the skaters. Although I was pretty good on roller blades as well, but that doesn't require much balance..
I'm still afraid of getting pulled over sober.. I literally can't walk the straight line (sober) nor stand on one foot. I just fall over.

i got my shoes confiscated in middle school ._. i loved those things. they were red with one blue and one yellow lace. i was a *** rebel!
