I suppose it's not like their really stopping me, it's more like I like being with them but they all seem to think they have to come back to Shiva to do it. I love this server, it's where I've been since I started almost 7 years ago but I need to meet new people and work on ***for myself. XP Vere was my first step towards doing that and I'd love to make even greater leaps to better my PUP towards what I want it to be. Even if I will be laughed at horrifically for my choice in job. :x
I felt the same, but if I stayed on phoenix, I'd have seriously quit a long time ago, and I wouldn't have any of the ***I do now and I'd be stuck doing ***for ungrateful people. lol
Just do what makes you feel happy. Switching to Bis is kind of the best thing I've done on XI in awhile. I'm pretty happy here.
/nod Yea, I have a few people who are very grateful for the help I've given them but there are quite a few that are just like "ok, now get me more" or something similar. I'm tired of it. :x I shall likely move on soon enough whether it be via server transfer or just a switch in the people I've been playing with in general.
Way I see it; Friends should be happy with whatever you do, rather than what you can do for them. I've done so much for some people only for them to leave me stuck at the same spot I was at and go "tough ***" lol.

I figure if I finally got that piece of crap, I'd be more motivated to farm the currency too. (Aegis is going nowhere fast, finished stage 1 like 1-2 months ago now and I'm still only at 1/12 pieces for stage 2.)
