Hase, the voices are the same voices as in the Japanese P4 game.
And they kinda have to rush it to fit 40 hours of gameplay in 25 episodes. Plus they put a battle in the first episode prolly to keep viewers interested and so MC gets his persona quickly and whatnot.

:( sounds dissapointing....maybe it'll be one of those rare anime thats better dubbed... I LOVED that game, so I hope the anime is good too.
I loved it too, but in the first episode, Yu already has is damn Persona. Excuse me? It takes like 3 hours in the game until you get it.

Which is why I dislike them. Mainly the female voices that really annoy me.
Hase, you have to realize that they have to fit the entire story in 25 ~24min episodes. If they waited 3 hours, that's already episode 6-7.

They could've had multiple seasons. I wouldn't have minded. It's not like the story is boring and people would give up on it.
25 eps is still 2 seasons, Hase. (Fall and Winter)
Maybe they don't have the budget for it? 25 episodes is still a lot for an anime. Just be happy you have 25 instead of 12 like a lot of the other anime airing this season.

It's hard for a producer to get an anime to get airtime, let alone get 25 episodes instead of 12. It takes lots of planning and money, from what I've read a while back.

Not everyone can be pleased. It's fine if they don't have the budget, just know my friends and I aren't satisfied by it so far. I got all this anticipation built for a rushed first episode, so you can see why I'm upset.
I really just wonder how boss battles will look. All the actual talking and stuff...well, been there, done that. I'd only like to see full conversations, no skipped stuff. No effort into full dialog? Then *** it.

Ya, what really drew me into that game, was the great dialogue and story. It played like a great murder mystery...was so damn awesome.
My guess on the boss battle is Yousuke's will be in Ep 2, Chie will be Ep 3, Yukiko Ep 4.
I've read some of the manga and the boss battles will prolly be like the battle in Ep 1. I mean how weird would it be to have a turn-base battle in an anime o.o
