When did schools care more about test scores then teaching? When did schools care more about test scores then teaching? IDK. I like the idea of incentives for consistent excellent performance. I just remember in middle school kids who performed well on our state's standardized test went to Six Flags for a day, but they opened the opportunity up for students who were from lower income families too. That annoyed me, and still does. If you don't perform you shouldn't reap the benefits. /snottiness off Leviathan.Catnipthief said: » Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Leviathan.Catnipthief said: » That reminds me *goes to stick the beer in the fridge* gonna be a looooong night tonight :3 Drinking while beta testing! Why should they have been rewarded? What's happening he--ohh beer :Q
Wow, that's a horrible idea. That kinda crap is promoting segregation, which goes beyond the scores of tests and incentive and points towards an almost unconstitutional infringement on human rights. Maybe not as strict as the segregation before the 1960s, it promotes the same idea. Your card is white, so you're not allowed to do this. What kind of message does that send? Instead of removing privileges, why not just use the test scores as they're intended; scholarly merit?
The point is, I think it has less to do with how much money their family brought in and more to do with the individual child.
ah the only beer I have is bud light :|
grandfather got like 6 cases from the bowling alley he goes to cause they had to toss out a ton of it cause of a fire they had there (guess they had to even though it was all perfectly fine) Bismarck.Magnuss said: » Wow, that's a horrible idea.
