I think the cartoons in the 80s and 90s were 1000x better. I loved watching stuff like Pirates of Dark Water as a kid >.>

Depends on how much the cut cost, too. I'm a little backwards on that, though. Most people tip more for a higher-costing cut. But I went to one lady who expected 40 bucks for a trim, which is a wee bit steep in my opinion. I gave her only a $3 tip because the cut itself was too damned expensive. Now I go to a beauty school, where they only charge 5 bucks for any kind of cut. It's riskier because all the people are still students and still make mistakes, but meh. They are trained a bit first. And since I know they do not get paid for the work they do because they are students, I tend to tip them $5 per trim. That's also unusual, to tip the same amount as the cut cost. But they don't get paid. :-(

I wont lie... the akwardness of not knowing how much to tip is one of the resons I go like 7 months between haircuts XD

I have a friend who is a hairdresser...she says there isn't really a "norm" for tipping for haircuts, it varies...but she said on a good day her customers will tip her between 10% and 30% usually higher if they got a color or perm or something. When I go to her for my haircuts, I dunno what the percentage is but her salon charges me $34 and I tip her $5-$10 depending on how long I've waited for my haircut (I don't usually get it cut but once every two years and by then it's so long and wild that it'd be indecent not to tip a little extra)

I dunno how much that helps...

Looking up on the internet, the websites seem to say 20%. I think I'm gonna stick with my rules for restaurants, if 20% is less than $5, I'm going to go $5.

ugh...lol

Mostly I find it just absolutely annoying. But there was one episode I had the misfortune of being in the house during, and Spongebob sat there and laughed his god-awful laugh for I swear 5 minutes straight. I was about ready to murder a kitten by the time he shut up. ~.~ I try not to be easily ticked off, but sometimes stupid little things like that drive me crazy! Worst laugh ever!

Agreed. I mean, there are some cartoons on nowadays that are significantly more educational then ours ever were but...I don't want to be educated when I watch tv/cartoons...I want mind numbing, hilarity, drama, violence...of course...that COULD be because I'm completely mental but oh well...

I'll admit, I'm a fan of Plankton...he's my kind of guy...and he reminds me of an extremely tiny, talkative, version of Wile E Coyote...lol

As for cartoons, I'm partial to Invader Zim I suppose. Mostly I'm partial to Gir. xD We have the series on DVD, since we don't get tv channels at our house.
