Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?

I dunno what were doing wrong but.. o.o;;; haha read your mind. :33 But yeah we thought about coupons.. Seriously might have to look into it.. Been here.. not even a month and 300+ on food. :/ If there's more actual cooking involved $150 isn't unusual for a week. The real way to save is to actually "cook." And I don't mean box foods and stuff out of cans. I feed a family of 4 pre-teen thru teen kids and the wife and I for about $100 a week. There are many benefits to being old school about it. just one of the things we do do save like this: Buy a whole chicken bone and all, normally you can get them at markets for $1/lb, plan on 1/2 lbs per person per meal (since half the weight is bone and skin) stick the chicken in crock pot with cup of water on low while at work with simple seasons like salt pepper a couple chucked up carrots and celery stalks. You are at a cost of about $10 right now inc seasons and veggies. [about what we are at for 6 people]. Set the trimmer on crock to go off 2 hours before you plan to touch it, want it to still be warm but not hit. strain the juices into bowl, now you have a base for making sauces and soups very easily, and when i say easy I mean the time it takes to cook macaroni and cheese on stove. Separate the veggies they are good side for a meal or to toss in soup. The skin we actually smoke till almost near raw hide and that is what we use as dog treats. "Oh remember to let stock settle and skim it next day if you want to lower fat in it" separate the chicken from the bone and toss bones. save chicken which should be near 5+lbs + plan on 1/2 loss of pre cooked separated weight. This in total take only a couple hours after work one night a week, less for less people of course. So we have about 20-30 oz, of stock. ~easy soup, you can mix most anything into a good stock for hearty soups. Just get a book at any store. and 5 lbs of chicken. ~ we do chicken salad with it, also simmer for shredded chicken tacos, toss the pieces in some flour or shake and bake, or fry Asian style, making homemade orange sauce for orange chicken also very easy. Just this one simple chicken cook down makes 3 meals for us a week, when combined with side dishes like veggies or fruits tortillas it comes to 3 meal x 6 people at a cost of $15-$20 (in essence a $1 a person per meal or less for hearty dinners. for lunch our kids brown bag it commonly with PB&J and breakfast we do oatmeal (not the kind in package (whole oat bulk oatmeal) which only takes like 10 mins to cook. so lunch and breastfed are rather cheap for us as well, on weekend we do omelets and pancakes and things. In the long run you will eat healthier and save money. *WALL O TEXT* I am kipper in the morning >.< Otomis said: » *WALL O TEXT* I am kipper in the morning >.< That...sounds like way too much effort....>.> Good but too much effort for me <.<
Sounds fine to me.
Gonna be a ghetto stock though. In my family we have almost always had homecooked meals
Awww, they changed dialog in Starfox 64 3DS. Instead of "Hey Einstein, I'm on your side!" it's "Hey genius, I'm on your side!"
Someone made a legit point that Einstein didn't exist in this game so it wouldn't make sense for Falco to say it. Guess back then we never really cared. My mom cooks...I don't cook. I never bothered...
Doesn't sound very appealing to me, tbh. When I want chicken I get the boneless/skinless breasts. And not everything I want to eat involves chicken (though a lot does). I rarely feel like actually cooking though so I typically buy things like this and this (family size ones). They're easy and have enough leftovers for lunch the next day or two. I also cook spaghetti and a few other things. Every Friday is pizza Friday as well.
I love to cook. Not sure why. /shrug
Speaking of which; time for some lunch. My dad always made better food than my mom lol, but she made more Swedish food and he made Chinese/BBQ/Italian stuff

Guess back then we never really cared. That and Einstein might have been wrong about everything. I have a homecookedmeal maybe once a week, sometimes once every two weeks. Family is too busy to stay home and make food, so it's usually fast food or I make something myself (nothing special, like rice).

Let me find the link....I'd rather not explain ; ; I'm bad at it lol For the curious~ 'Cept even that doesn't prove he's wrong.
Eisensteinian physics deals with particles; what traveled faster than light were subatomic particles, which we've known for quite some time to not behave within our current rules for 'upper physics' and such. Yeah, he wasn't wrong, just his theory was taken to the next level. That's like saying the Wii was wrong because Microsoft came out with Kinect - full motion controller.
Don't look at me...I'm just supplying information ; ;
I couldn't care less either way... Am I the only one constantly getting DCd from FFXI this morning?
Ramuh.Krizz said: » Am I the only one constantly getting DCd from FFXI this morning? I'm always getting DCd from everything :| but that's just my crappy ISP I guess. Oh yeah... morning all.... All I'm doing is trying to run through Windy to get back to Sandy...
Ramuh.Krizz said: » All I'm doing is trying to run through Windy to get back to Sandy... When I was still playing XI I was always plagued with DC errors in certain areas that only sometimes showed up, and no file check would fix. and the GM/sGM/Dev people didn't give a ***to my feedback. Guess I could either fire up my Wii or my 360 and play something while I don't have a headache (cause i'm sure that it's going to come out and rear it's ugly head again sometime today) but I dunno what. Carbuncle.Joeywheeler
