if you thought you could live off of making videos on youtube without selling ads that's your own damn fault. sure it happens but no more than winning the lottery.

Even without the crypto hype there still is this "fix" for GPUs where once they already produce purple artifacts and cause crashing (the card being effectively on the brink of it's live time) you'd stuff it in the oven at a certain temperature and the card would work again. Unfortunately the fast majority of the time it only lasts for a couple of weeks or months before you get artifacts and crashing again.
How would you want to know someone didn't do that with his card before selling it on ebay?

I'm currently on an Asrock RX 7900 XT Taichi that I bought off Facebook (now that's risky) and over a year later I'm golden Ponyboy. It's one thing if you're not comfortable buying used if you don't know how to spot things or diagnose issues, but if you do, it's a no brainer to get stuff on the cheap when you can to further your build.
