With Terminus in Dyna D Wave 3 on the BST NM. The most upsetting thing about it, is the BRD had just renewed 5 songs.

Dang, I am reading a very messed story.

Title: Welcome home, papa

At first, I thought it would be some plot of father x stepdaughter forbidden romance, but turned put some mystery drama soup opera.

This story is intriguing not because it is something unique in history, but because it can go in many direction and so far, we do t have any clue which one it will take

Maybe is a trap from the mother and daughter to kill the protagonist?

Maybe the daughter genuinely is in love with her stepfather?

Maybe it is just a convoluted but common story?

Maybe it is a blood ritual to revive the previous father?

It could be any of those, and that is why this story is so interesting

But it is a shame it is still a 5 volume story (in 3 years), and with such release frequency, maybe a lot of years till we see a conclusion

So, Ive decided to tune down my ambition.

Instead of doing a complete full playthrough in one go, I will split it in “arcs”, and posting it as it is.

This way, I can start releasing sooner, as I already finished my first arc.

This also will allow me to take a break of this madness of playthroughs and work on other side projects. I really like to discuss mangas, and Ive been reading some far from the mainstream, with very little coverage.

Plus, upgrading a little my python skills to something I can make profitable.

In the future I also plan to work in a FFXI related project maybe. I like the game, and still I feel that some content is missing related to it.

I once scrolled over page 2 of the Nintendo Shop, and I was surprised how quick it went to the deep web of the shop.

I always thought Nintendo as the heavy watcher of quality content for its platforms, only allowing a minimum quality or adheremce to their core principles.

So it got me offguard the amount hentai content that shop had.

It was like the feeling when for the first time a child discover his parents f**k

After I started my playthrough break, I began the AI courses, and noticed those stuffs are quite expensive, even more considering it is like a gacha: you input something, spin the whell and may or may not get something you want.

This is bad for me, one because it gives me an unwanted restriction, other because Im not sure if I can get consistency during rolls.

I dont need one image/video/avatar, but a consistency to build an identity.

I just started learning though, maybe there are more to converge my expectations to reality.

In the mean time, I finally unboxed my no-screen wacom drawing table, opened the paint and started to sketch.

To my surprose, for the first time in my life I thought:

"this is viable!"

It fueled my hopes in my creative inspiration.

Note that nothing of those I drew from scratch, I had a random image in the background and draw the lines, but still, I really liked the result.

A few years back I finally decided to see what all the fuss was about with the Mother series of video games.

I played Mother 1, then Earthbound. Both enraptured me quite thoroughly, in spite of their annoying scripted fights towards the end where certain bosses are set to be unkillable even if you 0 out their HP (Lookin at you R7048).

Anyway I got to Mother 3, which started out a bit silly then emotionally heavy. And idk exactly why, but I lost all interest and didn't play any further.

I'm guessing Undertale is what sparked the interest?

Nah. I mean I did play Undertale and enjoyed it (Battle Against a True Hero is a BOP), but it was more that I was working nights non-stop with a lot of work down time, and access to my laptop, so I could emulate RPGs really easily and fit them in between work.

Everyone on the internet has their *** out for Earthbound a ton, and I knew it was the 2nd one in a series, so I looked into the first one instead.

And I was glad I did. Both games were really enjoyable, but the first one touched my 'tism in all the right ways. The story scope being that Ninten's grandparents were incredible inventors who made alien contact and developed psychic powers while also becoming adoptive parents to Giygas is one of the better RPG stories I've experienced.

What made it so enjoyable was the nebulous and abstract things surrounding their PSI powers. Magicant existing beyond their deaths to assist their grandson was very interesting to me. I am asthmatic, so Ninten being asthmatic was endearing.

The game itself was both wacky and dark. Unlike even its sequel or any of its spiritual successors (indie games mimicking the artstyle) it had a truly oppressive atmosphere with an allure of mystery. Couple that with the love interest being a little blonde girl, my wife being blonde, and my wife seeming to always know what I'm thinkking... and idk, it just feels like the collective unconscious reached out and gave me the good touch.

The second game is similar in a lot of ways, but something about it having more scripted fights and leaning harder towards the whimsical and away from its darker aspects made it feel a little less impactful to me. Also, the final encounter revolving around placing your brains into robots and facing a faceless psychic soul terror version of Gigyas... It's a great spectacle I guess, but it lacks the real soul of the simpler encounter with the actual physical alien Giygas, where you defeat him in a similar manner by singing his adoptive parents' lullaby causing his mind and will to yield to love. I mean, I am all for Prayer beating an ultimate evil force. That is valuable too, as it acknowledges there is a greater force than just mankind or any exceptional individuals.

But it's pretty uncommon, especially nowadays, for villains to yield to any kind of love. And in this case it was parental love. Not a lot of stories touch on that for villains. I really can't think of a lotta stories where the villain decides to end their world domination plan and retreat, due to loving their parents.

It's classy and unique. I love it! (Though I still wish they'd let me beat R7048 with Teddy)

Easy to have the same opinion as 99% of people that watched it. It's not an opinion at that point, just fact.

Nothing short of the plot of KOTOR2 being made into a movie with zero changes would make me want to watch another star wars thing again at this point.

I watched a video discussing about Coursera buying Udemy.

This video was extremelly negative towards Udemy, comparing their courses like a wallmart, what is true.

When you allow literally anyone to record a course, sell it for 5$, and the students can simply tick off the classes to get the certificate, that means the certificate means next to nothing.

While I completely agree with this, I think there is a problem that is never addressed here: ok, you are saying Udemy courses are garbage. But what I will do to learn?

I dont have an answer for that. I still prefer paying 5$ for a wallmart course for a chance to learn something, than just keep bitching about the price, about the quality or about learning.

I feel like newer generation isnt maturing regarding learning. Feels like everyone uses whatever excuse to not study. Feels like if it is not the the best course in universe, the best teaching method and content, I would be better off being dumb.

Another excuse that piss me off is those saying: “dang, I did X-number of courses, but couldnt write a single program. This course suck”.

This is not just dumb, it is offensively dumb.

You could study in the best medical school in the world, but you will never go from book to performing real surgery. You have to do some sort of internship.

Naturally you could read 10 books, do 10 courses, but this doesnt means you accrued field experience. Learning does not work like that. Your brain works with synapses connections, and watching/reading something can only establish a handful percent of it. Thus why it is that hard to move from theory to practice, but that is the normal thing.

So, it is just dumb someone complaining because you watched a 3h course you still cant build the next Netflix.

Instead complaining, just keep stacking those knowledges, as poor as they seems, while keep trying to tackle real problem with the inspiration you have

Nope, there is barely much merch for FFX in figure form. I had some from the play arts kai line and that line is really bad if you ask me. They have exposed joints and just look like toys, the recent remakes of yuna and Tidus are nice but not that great. Which is a shame because the bring arts line for the FF7 stuff has been really good looking. SE just does not produce really good larger figures.

Like these are some of the nicer ones even though Yunas face isn't 100% there.

but then you get stuff like this

Like, the face is nice but the exposed joints in the elbows and hands and knees is so ugly to me.

It used to be ok because the price point was semi fair around 80 dollars or so. Now though they are charging almost hot toys level prices, their shin line being 200+ dollars.

Compared to something that is third party 1/6th scale and similar price (at release)

No they are third party. Its from a resin statue studio called "Solar studio" they are doing the entire FF lines in 1/4 statue scale. They are really big at that scale so I've only decided to do a few from 10, 8 and 9. Some of the face details are a little soft but the overall sculpt is really incredible. They are doing a massive Bahamut from 10 that looks really cool.

I barely possess any knowledge when it comes to this hobby, but I came across Solar Studio last month and their stuff looked pretty damn cool that even I felt like getting the Squall statue. I had a feeling the Lulu one was from there based on how fine it looked.
