That's twice today I've had someone make me laugh out loud from a really random joke that I wasn't expecting.
I was watching a streamer this morning get to Ulbuka for the first time. His lockstyle is the Wyrmking Masque and Suit. In typical streamer fashion, he was reading aloud all of the dialogue. When Arciela asked him his name, my brain had an expectation. Instead he responded, in the most nonchalant voice with:
"Of course.
I am Bahamut, conquerer of the skies."
I couldn't stop laughing

I mean, Building Bridges only took me 6 tries, but never have I felt more incensed by an assault. Though Lost and Found is also irking me to no end.

I'm going through assaults now for another mythic, and I feel your pain. Combine that with me finally doing the Voracious Resurgence missions (I just got through Chapter 5 yesterday), and suddenly I have a stark reminder of why I hate Aht Urghan more than any other expansion.
I think the only part of ToAU that I actually enjoyed was doing Nyzul with a few friends back in the day, but I still have PTSD from the experience that is coming back to bite me now that I need to farm tokens.

Me: "Okay everyone, on lamp floors give a "/" when you find one, but if it's an order lamp DO NOT ACTIVATE IT until I say so. Do you understand?"
Everyone: "Yes."
*Proceed to lose several minutes in the run because someone failed to follow simple commands and screwed up the order*
I mostly really like ToAU, but in modern times its main point seems to be, "Hey yo, Mythics R Us!"
Back in the day I had a fairly competent assault static, but I also remember not knowing or looking up how it worked for a while. I think originally on Vyre I got to Lance Corporal solely off of doing the rock breaking one 6 times a week to sell Chivalrous Chains to keep myself in Food/Shihei. And as boring as mindlessly smacking boulders is, it sure beat the pants off of farming beehive chips and the other hoohahs.
Well, at least until I figured out about Castle Zvahl, Dark Spirit Pact, and the Beastmen weapons being NPCable back then for 4200~8300 gil. That and the Devil Manta with Angel Coral
I also remember Lamp floors. "Tell me if your lamp stays on."

Which included me at least my first few goes of it. I'm actually up to Floor 61 now solo at 75. Gonna try to go the distance!

edit: Vyre I cheap with Building Bridges as I multibox and I found that if you have somebody on /follow and the Lamia sees the "leader" if you're quick enough the guy on follow can move out of the way without being seen. Lost and found is stupid easy if you use mappy, but if you're trying to do it solo "legit" then gross.

Other than that, idk, digital age and time zones make releases kinda whack. I can't remember what game it was, but some game a couple years back was playable by Australians before anyone else due to their time zone allowing the download.

An old Saudi country singer passed away 3 weeks ago and i just found out he died. Guy was a legend, he had a song (apparently a true story) where he met a Female jinn in the Shore and she he described the meeting in a song, hard to to explain the lyrics but one was too lovely and scary at the same time, he Described her in the song, he said something like the blackest night is on your horn and the Waves of the sea comes from her eyes. anyway so I googled Jinn and poems because they always goes hand in hand

I'm preggers! Wait. Different test, but the sample I just took came back positive for the big one-niner, so that's a negative. I really really just thought that I only had a cold for the last few days. I tested because It's been like 3 days of coughing (that is getting better(ish) today.
I've isolated since before I started even feeling sick. At least I've been nice and when I ordered pizza this week, I even used the "no contact" option just because I thought it was a simple cold.
I'm at least double-vaxxed. Possibly triple. I forget and I've lost my record card somewhere. So many people got it so much worse so I won''t make light of it any more than this here.

As if going back on the poll results for the stupid Tiktoker collab wasn't bad enough, WotV also announced that the winter event unit everyone voted for will no longer be a winter event unit, and will instead be a standard global-first release, and the announcement is trying to pass it off as if it was an error to be corrected.
The vote was way back in January and they're only now announcing this "correction" less than a month before the unit comes out. They couldn't be more blatant about the fact that the change was because players have been stockpiling winter event unit materials over time and they'd rather people shell out cash for the character-specific ones instead.
