If KFC wants to attract gen-z all they have to do is lower the god damn price.

Everyone loves fried chicken, no one loves paying $30 for it. It's not something you need a focus group to figure out. When you can get 3-6 whole pizzas for that why would you ever get KFC instead.

I'm not sure about the USA, but Canada's KFCs are pretty garbage. I actually don't know how they can even find chickens small enough for the meat they serve.

Thankfully we've got a dozen or so local fried chicken restaurants that actually give decent bang for the buck and don't sit like a lump in your stomach.

The only good thing about KFC is their poutine, and even then it's only good when they make it right. 1/3rd of the time it's way too much gravy, another 1/3rd of the time it's way too little gravy, and only maybe 1/3rd of the time is it really good. And their chicken fingers are alright when they've got a deal on (and not like $3 apiece).

I have mixed feeling when trying to win AI Titan in AoM by abusing their erratic AI behavior: last fight I harassed it very early in game, and as the AI is scripted to follow the guy harassing till the end, by kiting I managed to force it to starvation, as all its productive citizen were dumbly following my scouter running in circle while my empire was flourishing at high speed.

Yeah, thats coward and kinda kills the purpose of playing, but using such methods can be considered unfair against an opponent that has a handicap of double speed unit, double speed production rate, double speed farming and potentially double gathering rate compared to normal players?

I guess i should be very worried when i cant meet my deadline, and the boss of my boss of my boss of my boss is following this issue and being demanded for it.

I'm on a fifth design of this same project in California.

The first was suuuuuper preliminary.

They came back with a whole new set of drawings about 6 months later, and I redesigned it then.

As I handed that one in, they told me the new plans wanted an attic, so I redesigned it to have a living space cavity within the attic.

Weeks later, they liked my design so much that they wanted the entire house to have attic living space.

Apparently this was the first time the customer was given a look at the price. Now they want me to redesign it back without a living space up there. I told them that the price really won't change that much. "Do it anyway. And the customer needs it in less than 24 hours"

A long-lost demo of “Heroin,” a song he would eventually release with the Velvet Underground, shows the track in its earliest stages.

Light In The Attic Records said it’s one of several songs Reed recorded in May 1965 with the help of fellow Velvet Underground cofounder John Cale. Reed mailed the recordings to himself ― a “poor man’s copyright” ― and the envelope sat unopened for nearly half a century.



The recording in the envelope had the original demo for , 'I'm waiting for the man'. Crazy to hear such a young soft spoken Lou recording from this time. Thought you'd like it.

this is how i found out about it. i have a record light in the attic did with a similar release of some old Sly Stone recordings. i really really really really wanna hear the unreleased version of, 'pale blue eyes'. it's gonna get released as an album with some other tracks including a cover of bob dylan's, 'don't think twice, it's all right'. here's a link to the pre-order page if you have any interest.

One thing I hate about the English language is how "do you mind" works.

It's always some form of asking for permission, but the positive answer is "no", and it's really confusing.

I just asked my boss in a text format if they mind if I take my lunch early today and the reponse was literally just "no."

I don't know how to take that and I feel stupid asking lmao

Might not be a big deal to many, but I had several friends in the Silent Service during my time in the USN who view this as bigger than the fall of the Berlin Wall as a true signal of the end of the Cold War Era.
