Man samsung financing and the upgrade process seems like a scam. Everytime I call its someone from a foreign country and they are practically reading a script. I guess I won't be upgrading my phone to the S22 ultra, oh well it didn't seem much better than my note20 ultra and it loses the SD card.

As I just recently bought the Switch, I was completely oblivious about the console wars that happened during 2010~2022 (i think the last "current" console I had was Xbox360. I also had PS4 but i barely played it, and I bought it short before the PS5 release; same with my Wii that I dont even know where it is, to who I gave it away). Just recently Ive been watching videos about it and slowly catching up.

Its still interesting knowing Switch is already like 5 years old, whats around the time a generation is lasting for current consoles. Switch thinks of itself as the 9th generation, competing with more modern consoles. As im kinda lost in time between 2010~2020, in my mind Switch was "new", but now I consider it "old". It should be about time to release a new Nintendo console, but again, I guess gaming market seems one of the most unpredictable ever. Most player probably should live about 20 years before moving on on games, also, there are so many entertainment competitors that arent even game related making it a very risky business. Last I read, at least the handheld market was dead already, I wonder how long till more drastic changes on traditional consoles.

i remember playasia back when your options were ebay or... playasia. i always wanted to order the ps1 dragonballz game that was only released in japan, but never got to. i've heard horror stories and happy stories. the only thing i can say is to 100% read the fine print on returns. i had a friend order a psp that was supposed to be a only in japan release and it came broked. they got no refund.

I 'member when DBGT final bout became sought after due to the spike in dbz popularity about 20 years ago. So much that they reprinted it. PSX was a weird time.

I wish I had a GameCube growing up. My friend's currently streaming Lost Kingdoms and that looks like exactly the kind of game I would have fallen in love with.

After a long time since my last power grind, finally I found an even match, that goes banana below 30% and spam like a mofo.

The rewards are so so but it will be a good new power grind to go from 57 to maybe 62.

haven't used playasia but bought zoids from plaza japan and they were great, if they sell whatever you're looking for

I mean you see a version of Lenne's bell, there's an entire vinegette with lucca. Lots of connections to trigger, but IMHO trigger was the far superior game.

Yea you can even argue that miguel is actually crono since he is the father of leene and being super powerful with light element

The story between Trigger and Chrono is that the former had a huge team that made the game, but as in every human team, there are always some discussions about PoVs. Trigger was like the agreement that was possible with so many diferent opinions.

When Cross was starting to be planned, instead of a multi-teams, SE picked one single person from the original team to lead the new project. And that guy had the opportunity to “rewrite” some aspects of the story while still keeping minor links to the original.

So, the truth is Cross wasnt written to be a direct sequel of Trigger because the lead itself had his own preferences and disagreements regarding it. A more fitting interpretation of Cross is that is an alternate dimension from the original, what ismt that far off as the original game had 12 ending, and the actual Cross related ending just came with the 13th one, just made in a remake version.

About the game quality, i guess if i had played Trigger while younger i would like it more than Cross. But being more mature, i think Cross is more unique/special. Looking right now, in 2022, i felt that most Trigger formula was exhaustively reused in many game that follow it (time travel plot, AtB battles, main character being swordman, anime design, kinda like a shonen) while Cross is more complex, hard to understand in a fast ganeplay so replay will always bring some new information. Design less anime-istic, more seinen-like, though i still find the fights pretty boring on Cross.

It also should be considered the Chrono fanbase are divided between people who played Cross before Trigger and who played Trigger before Cross, so there is a bias on it.

Personally i belong in the former group.

I've never done a full playthrough of either. I always wanted to and just never got around to it. I know I'd like it, just like I know I'd like 6. Just too many games out there that I want to play.

The backlog is real.

Same goes for television (Netflix). Like Breaking Bad...

To no one's surprise, Lost Ark's launch is a *** disaster. Good going amazon, 2 for 2!
