This is my first time seeing this, it totally doesn't have to be gender locked. It looks like it could easily fit all of the models. I always thought locking gear to certain genders/races was lame. I mean I get why though, less work/money, but still. If I want my Galka or Taru to look like a princess while having a big ol dingerdonger it should be my choice >:(

Edit: I don't role play as a guy or anything when I play games. I just sometimes pick male characters to play as. if that makes sense? I don't see myself as my Roe in XIV, I see him as a goofball dork that I guide on his journeys. I've gotten "why do you play a male character if you're female?" before and its not even about gender when I make them. If I did make a female character it wouldn't be to attract male attention, it would be because its what felt good to me at the time. idk I'm ranting about something no one asked for. :|

There's an infinite number of reasons to want to do it, too. Maybe you just like the character, maybe you just want to look at a nice butt when you play, maybe you're closet trans. Nobody should give a crap that you're doing it, nor why you're doing it. And frankly, if anybody does make a big stink about it, it's an opinion you can disregard anyway.
So, I need more opinions on this grammar police.

Which bolded word is correct? I believe it's option 1, but my editor believes its option 2.

I double-checked my nearby dictionary to be safe, and it would agree with the both of us.

Because of the structure it is the second one.
"Lie" would be the right context, and lay is the past tense of lie. Where as "lay", past tense laid would be to act on an object. You lie(lay) down, instead of lay(laid) a thing down.
Possibly restructure the sentence to work better, as an option. Or bust out the thesaurus. If I'm ever uncertain, changing the word entirely removes all doubt.

Good Lady. I was just participating in an offensive Campaign Battle in West Sarutabaruta (S), and I must have killed close to 100 Divine Inspirers before they finally retreated. Windurst had sent every army our way, and they "returned victorious" before they even arrived because of how many enemies were dropping.

I'm not going to get to play 14 for a few days it seems.. 7k people in front of me now to log in. I'm not sure if people who preordered EW get priority when logging in but that's kind of shitty if so. I know free trial people can't even get on right now because they aren't allowed in queues at all.
Why not use this opportunity to log into FFXI? There's no queues here!

I got in at 4:30 AM PDT with no problem.

Best expac so far made it to level 88 story IS TOP Notch, the new Escort quests are so much better than before, Really hated the first and 3rd dungeon tho, dont mount for escort quests...
