The Olympics should always be in Los Angeles or New York, two cities that don't have to build any new venues. The alternative is keep crying about how China keeps getting them.

There are pictures from like 2010 showing it already in disrepair.
It is actually DISGUSTING how much money goes into building a brand new arena every single time and how it goes completely unused after. Literal monuments to human waste and greed.
I'd amend that to include blind nationalism, too.
Regarding permanent locales for Olympics....not a big fan of that honestly. We need to just stop billing The Olympics as being more than it should be- a sporting competition to encourage peaceful relationships between nations. NOT what it has turned into- a referendum on a nation's greatness based upon pyrotechnics and stadium architecture.
Should just switch to the Gundam fight and move on with it.

I am both incredibly amused and saddened to watch a nation celebrate a child spelling bee champion annually as much as we do, yet that same nation can't manage to properly use your/you're and their/there/they're.

kind of more commenting on the coverage of the spelling bee- why is that being reported annually on ESPN outside of their TV contract with Scripps to cover it? Seems like a reasonable connection that if we truly celebrated a spelling bee champ as a nation, that same nation would value spelling and grammar a lot more in our own lives. And based on what I see on a daily basis, that is definitely not the case.

A little generic and predictable... certainly didn't warrant the year and a half delay. They could've just put that out on Disney+ back when it was supposed to come out. Not their best work.

I've sort of stopped caring about the spelling and grammar of other people, realizing that language works as long as the correct idea is being expressed.
I don't think I'd mind it at all if it were folks whose second language was English, or even if it just happened infrequently. But I think more than 50% of the time I see people mess up their, they're, and there.
