Is your Remembrance Day for honoring Veterans both alive and fallen? Just curious about the differences as I never dug into them, but he alignment of Canada's Remembrance Day and the US's Veteran's Day (both 11th November) made me curious.
It often isn't specified enough, but Memorial Day here in the States is supposed to be for those Servicemen who fell in combat, and not for Veterans of the military as a whole. That's what we use Veteran's Day for.

Yup. Should be a holiday for us as well, in my opinion. Not to score an extra day off work, but just because of its sheer importance and recognition.

Armed Forces Day has existed since a little after WW2 in the States Honoring Active members of all branches of the Military. In fact, it was 2 weeks ago.

The only thing that changes in TV Cop Dramas over the past 60 years have been the phones.
i stocked shelves at a grocery store after hours when i was like 19/20. people would decide they didn't want meat/chicken/fish and then toss it under the shelves or try to hide it in stuff instead of just walking it back. would be so annoying cause you usually wouldn't find it til it started stinking.
