Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

As someone who spent the first 35 years of his life preparing to and eventually being one of those performers prior to my epilepsy, I value what they do too much to ask for comps, I'll gladly pay for that experience. But I WILL be asking a certain person if they can get me backstage :)

Hopefully coming toward the end here.

-Gastroentological surgeon is basically on file at this point, won't see him for 6 months and all the things he was responsible for (tumor, rectum, anus) are fixed.

-Plastic surgeon just needs to remove the staples from my thigh and the drain from behind my knee. He's also keeping en eye on my perineal and where my anus used to be wounds, where a mild parting has formed. Prolly dealing with him infrequently for a few more months.

-Urologist saw my xrays and said I look normal inside (or as normal as someone who had a bunch of organs scooped out can look). Just needs to remove my Suprapubic catheter and I'm probably not seeing him anymore.

-Oncologist is looking at studying my DVT and lowering my dose of blood thinners. Going to be starting up chemo again after my wounds have healed more, will be on it for at least 3 years but since I'm high risk for recurrence it will probably be longer. Will obviously be seeing him for years to come to keep tabs on treatment and to get regular scans for any possible tumor growth.

Most of the "free phone" plans require that- is Straight Talk really that different than Verizon or Sprint that if you cancel that 2 year agreement that came with a "free" iPhone you have to either return the phone or pay a balance on it? (thus proving the phone was never free to begin with, yet that part is missed by many signing the papers)

no way to do it without an unlock code which you get at the end of your payment contract or by paying for a third party unlock service

you never get anything for free, youre paying the value of the phone as part of your contract over 12/24/36 months as they always also require you to open a new line for the 'free' phone.

i either buy an unlocked phone thru my own credit lines or pay for them outright these days. carrier financing plans have very high built in APRs.

Well, I finally joined the cool kids club and got my first round of vaccine (Pfizer) today. I wasn't worried about it, but my wife went first and the shot hit a vein or something, causing her to bleed out quite a bit. You know, just the kind of thing to get me excited about going next....

But then I got mine and barely even felt it, and I haven't had any noteworthy side effects. Good deal.

You will probably have arm soreness, ranging from moderate to severe, later on. I would take some tylenol right away.

My brother had the J&J and it make him feel like absolute crap. Being one and done is a nice perk, though.


So far so good, but I'm definitely keeping that in mind for dose 2.

Honestly have no idea who he was or the anime. I did see the tribute to him on XIV, that was pretty neat.

His greatest manga was Berserk that was being published for 32 years already.

Yeah, i hope his students or really anyone else can finish the series, because it deserves. And sadly, maybe the chances for that actually increased, because when you give too much care for a work, it gets that slow.

Sometimes you dont need to be epic in every page, just to get the job done
