Tear it down? Why? You haven't had it long enough to deep clean it.
Cause nvidia decided it'd be a great idea to stick $0.50 thermal pads on all of the hottest components on the board and didn't put any on some of them.
Going to be putting some 17W/mK fujipoly pads on all of the hot spots on each side of the PCB, replacing the dogshit nvidia sourced 0W/mK~1.5W/mK ones and replace the shitty factory TIM with some Phobya Nanogrease.
Rather not continue seeing my memory junction hit 100-110C.

newer cards sadly have the same problems. they dont really care.

There's something to be said about the demand being many magnitudes higher than the supply and with that comes the complete and total lack of effort given as they know they will sell regardless.

Sony pushed out a machine that wasn't fully done with R&D and now they have to push out potentially user experience degrading firmware updates to try to keep the thing from melting.
The XBox is actually designed beautifully and I wish Microsoft would consider releasing a SFF PC case in its likeness.

i just assume all the stuff is fake. who has a camera right there recording themselves order food and orders it like that? that kid and the mom both know the number of the meal or name of the kids meal that... ok i get it... fart.

i can't sleep when i need to be sleeping and it's bad thing. thankfully today is my day off, and even though i will want to go to bed in like 5 hours i'm gonna make myself stay up. being up too late makes me do silly things like post on ffxiah. god knows that's not safe.

Can I get ya'll's opinion? My mom's bday is coming up and instead of me getting her a plant or a shirt I decided to do something out of the box and get her some Egyptian themed things. She LOVES all thing Egypt and historical so I got her some Egyptian currency and a handblown perfume bottle. Is this going to be cringe or cute?
To this day, my mom's favourite gift was when I was still living at home but was going on a two-week trip right after Mothers' Day. She had just lost her own mom weeks before so she didn't really want to celebrate or receive gifts. So I bought a bunch of her favourite candy bars and strategically hid them around the house so she would find about one a day. She still talks about it :)

Im more on the practical side, last few years ive been giving gift cards or straight money to family.
Or just say youre her bday present.
