I felt bad for people joining so I made a tiny house at the world spawn point on our realm, with nothing inside it but beds and a chest full of like 1000 torches.
that way, zero work is done for people to remove the fun starting process or making tools and gathering ingredients to build, they can just have a safe place to plan and explore freely without poor vision or instantly dying lol

To no ones surprise, Overwatch has been announced for Switch, coming Oct 15
To no ones surprise, more and more 3rd party titles are coming to Switch.
Terry Bogard being in Smash was kindof a surprise, but Nintendo accidentally leaked that info 2 days ago, well, that a SNK character was coming, but not which one.

Also, SNES games are coming to Switch. I think you have to maintain an online sub to play them tho.

NES games were available on Switch. Now the SNES catalog is being opened as well. I need to find out if Nintendo's system is like PS4 where I own the games forever, or if I have to maintain a sub. There is no reason for me to have a monthly online sub to Switch atm, nor do I see one coming in the future. Just don't play any multiplayer games on it.

But the nice thing about the Nintendo online subscription account is that it applies to everything.
Smash online multiplayer? Check.
NES/SNES library? Check.
Pokemon Home/Bank? Check Check.
Online capabilities with other games? Check.
So, if you are planning on playing online multiplayer on the Switch, the NES/SNES library is just a nice bonus to go along with everything else.
