I liked the story of FF8 better, but I hated the Draw system. Materia wasn't perfect, but it was fun. The Draw system was never fun. I also liked the overall cast of 7 better than 8. Both main characters were meh, but the supporting cast was stronger in 7 imo. And if I had to choose, I would take Cloud over Squall.
The remaster is coming out at a good time for me, I can probably get through it in time for Borderlands 3.

anyways, FF7 was always fun, but playing the PC mod New Threat made it more interesting with lots of stuff that were overhauled with new and changed boss battles being more strategic and party members having different stats now. I do not think she played Classic, maybe only through the stress, i cant wait for her and 50 other streamers quit mid way because of leveling grind. either way i hate her i hope she gets banned on twitch.
