I don't even know why you guys respond to Vic Vuc. He is in his own version of reality and can't comprehend anything other than his incredibly narrow viewpoint.

So anyway, this is my first expansion for FFXIV, since all the other times I played I had the latest/greatest thing since sliced bread.
Since I get this ***from Steam, do I have to download it from Steam or does it automatically do that for me?

Side stories (like job quests) are pretty good too. I especially like how humorous the WAR 4.0 job quests played out. And DRG is kindof deep.
And it's not like there isn't anything to do between updates. Each week gets you a chance to be disappointed for doing 9 randomly generated quests for a chance of a drop worth millions, or some super-awesome armor that gets outclassed by better armor that's obtainable by the next patch.
IMO, it's worth the subscription for.
