I also agree that it looks like an 8-man trial based on both the requirements and the trailer.
If it's an actual 8-man fight, all the better. EX Rathalos, LET'S GO.
[edit] also like to add that it seems like the trailer takes place in the same arena that the level 70 DRG fight takes place in, so that points to an 8-man fight too.

The German Monster Hunter World site apparently leaked the Monhun half of the XIV collab.
Pretty sure this is the first time since the Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker collab that we've had them actually add a new monster for a collab event. Usually it's just armour and weapons.
